Hi!
My name is Jasmin Cicek and besides my deep personal journey into meditation, ecstatic dance, yoga, a lot of books and all kinds of energy work.

I am passionate about building a community where you are allowed to be all of you and a firm believer of the idea that your authentic expression is the key to living a joyful live and simultaneously is the way to be off service. I guide with warmth and raw honesty, challenging you into deep shadow territory while I simultaneously have one mission, to put a smile on your face and hear you laugh at all of it, at least one time in each class!
I want you to meet an honest love for singing, dancing and theater to connect in a more authentic way is.
These elements are meant as tools to feel alive and are here to be expressed by everyone!
Her Story
Growing up, I was one of those, cause they are many (if not all of us) that has been told to behave 'NORMAL', whatever that means.
Just like my emotions, that were labeled as 'not true or valid', I was told to srink. You can imagine, and probably can relate, that all this had consequences, not being able to listen to my gut feeling, my heart, I basically lived by a standard that made me feel, well, dead inside. I still participated in dance classes, theater workshops and singing lessons, yet, I did not FEEL like I was expressing. I was performing. Off stage, in real life as well.
So who was Jasmin?
Due to a feeling of being 'not really me, fake', I got more and more interested in the 'art of being' on the stage of life.
How do I create a life that actually makes me feel the opposite? My true me, free, ALIVE. I studied Culturele Maatschappelijke Vorming at the 'Hogeschool Utrecht', let's say, a creative spectrum of Social Works, and started using theater to help people tell personal stories. It felt honest. I fell in love with vulnerability and holding space for those who are brave enough to go there.
Inspired, I started my meditation journey, found out about ecstatic dance, yoga and all kinds of energy work. Still fighting with depression and very deep emotions I kept on digging. Deeply amazed by the ability to transform through mind, posture, vocal use and playing with energy, I got myself hooked in a self-healing journey that was a great study in what I now teach, I finally stared hearing myself. Then shadow work began and eventually, I started loving who I was discovering myself to be. I continued developing my voice and years later I studied 'Kleinkunst' at Selma Susanna, a course in 'Intuitive Vocal Coaching' and completed a 'Alchemy Dance Teacher training'.
In a world of performing, I found my way in being. I believe that when you feel safe to express freely in the world, you are in service to living a joyful life simultaneously for all that is around you. Because you live as you suppose to be. And that is beautiful and feels welcoming.
