Hi!

My name is Dhyan. My journey into meditation began in 2003 with a 10-day silent retreat, helping me overcome anxiety and discover inner stillness. I spent years in deep practice, including long silent retreats and training in Vipassana, self-inquiry, Dzogchen and Yogi breathwork. Today, I guide others through meditation, breathwork (Tibetan, Hatha, Qi Gong), and Yoga Nidra, offering a 21-day morning meditation course and silent retreats in the Netherlands and Belgium.

His Story

My journey into meditation began in 2003 when I attended my first 10-day silent retreat. Struggling with nervousness and anxiety, this retreat marked the beginning of a profound inner transformation. In 2004, I explored Qi Gong and Tai Chi in Amsterdam, and in 2005, I set out on an overland journey to China in search of more profound Qi Gong training. However, for over three years, India became my home, where I immersed myself in Vipassana meditation, Kriya yoga, Laya yoga and self-inquiry retreats.

During my time in Tiruvannamalai, I dedicated more than nine months to daily meditation, realising that true inner stillness required making peace with the past. This realisation led me to shadow work workshops in the USA and the Netherlands, deepening my understanding of the mind and emotions.

In 2018, I left my job again to commit to long silent retreats, including solo retreats of up to two months, accumulating over six months in profound silence. That same year, I met my current teacher, Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche. I followed many retreats and teachings in Bön Dzogchen.

Today, I share my experience through teaching meditation, breathwork (drawing from Tibetan, Hatha, and Qi Gong traditions), and Yoga Nidra. I offer a 21-day morning meditation course designed to help participants cultivate inner stillness presence. And I share silent retreats in the Netherlands and Belgium, where profound transformation can unfold.

With a wealth of personal experience and a deep commitment to practice, I create a space where students can reconnect with themselves, embrace stillness, and experience the profound benefits of meditation
